· Thor’s father is Odin (All-Father of the Gods).
· His mother is Jord (Earth Goddess).
· He was the strongest of the Aeisir (the race of Norse Gods) who lived in Asgard.
· Like all Asgardians, Thor is not truly immortal but relies upon periodic consumption of the Golden Apples of Idunn to sustain his extended lifespan, which to date has lasted many millennia.
· Thor is the God of Thunder.
· Thor possessed a hammer called Mjolnir, which can only be wielded by those deemed as worthy.
